It occurred to me this afternoon that in the last week in the BBC, Guardian, Die Zeit, Frankfurter Allgemeine, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Philadelphia Inquirer, Los Angeles Times, and SF Gate I have seen no mention, literally not one mention at all, of Bernie Sanders. I used an Internet search engine and came up with a Variety piece:
Senator Bernie Sanders has issued a statement of support and congratulations after the election of Joe Biden, who was announced as winner of the presidential race on Saturday.
Sanders, however, did not directly congratulate Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on their victories.
