The doors have been removed from all the guard towers.
The towers are accessible, but the ladders have been removed.
Following the instructions of my mapping program I arrived at my destination and turned into the driveway of what seemed to be a light industrial area. I backed out and figured that while I was probably close I’d taken a wrong turn. This proved not to be the case. There is a lumber mill operating in the prison yard.
You can see bars on the windows of the buildings. The roofs are caving in.
Those wires are hanging off glass insulators. The fence was electrified.
Standing in front of the prison I paused for a bit and looked across the river at Bosnia. It was 30°C and quite humid. The trees were full of bird noises. I’d never looked across a river at Bosnia before.
